Trees for Troops
Santa's Tree Farm and Village is proud to announce that we are giving back through the Trees for Troops program.
About Trees for Troops:
Since 2005, more than 122,000 free, farm‐grown Christmas trees have been provided to troops and military families in the United States and overseas through Trees for Troops. Thousands of trees are donated by American farm families and the public, and FedEx delivers them to more than 65 military bases in the U.S. and overseas.
In 2012, Trees for Troops was honored at the White House as a top 20 national finalist in the Joining Forces Community Challenge, an initiative started by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden to recognize organizations that provide exemplary service and support to military families.
How Santa's Tree Farm and Village is helping:
Santa's Tree Farm and Village has purchased military teddy bears from the Trees for Troops program and these bears are on sale at our Elves Workshop. Proceeds from the sale of these bears go directly into the Trees for Troops fund through the 501c (3) Spirit of Christmas Foundation.
Monetary donations are also being accepted at the Elves Workshop for the spirit of Christmas Trees for Troops Program. When you donate just $1 or more a pin up is placed on our Elves Workshop ceiling in your name, honoring your contribution.
Please join us at Santa's Tree Farm and Village supporting our military and their families by stopping by our Elves Workshop to either purchase a military bear or to make a monetary donation directly to the Trees For Troops program.
